"The greatest among you will be your servant.  All who exalt themselves will
be humbled, and all who humble themselves will be exalted."  ~Matthew

.=:  M E D I T A T I O N   F O R   T H E   D A Y  :=.

When trouble comes, we need not say: "Why should this happen to me?"
We can leave ourselves out of the picture.  We can think of other people and
their troubles and we can forget about our own.  Gradually, we can get away
from ourselves and we can know the consolation of unselfish service to
others.  After a while, it will not matter so much what happens to us.  It
is not so important any more, except as our experience can be used to help
others who are in the same kind of trouble.

I pray that I may become more unselfish.  I pray that I may not be thrown
off the track by letting the old selfishness creep back into my life.

Rose asks for prayers for her brother who is having marital problems.
Marilyn asks for prayers for step-daughter's chemo results to be negative
and future procedures encouraging. Nancy from PA requests prayers for the
quintuplets who were born here Sunday and their family that they may
overcome any health issues arising from birth and become strong and healthy
infants.

Rebecca and Andy ask prayers for guidance in the purchase of their first
home. Ruth asks prayers for two friends who are ill, one is dying within
hours. Janice asks prayers for her mom who has water on the brain & is
having a spinal tap on Friday that it takes care of her various health
problems.

Edna asks prayers for her nephew who is battling cancer. Angela asks prayers
for her mother who is waiting for medical test results. Nikki prays that
when she sees the doctor there will be no swelling or any indication of a
tumor. Joanne asks for prayers for her husband who has colon cancer and is
in the hospital.

We pray for unity in our country and that we may build a Culture of Life. We
pray for the safety of our troops, their safe return and their families at
home.  We pray for a deep and profound respect for life, and for the courage
and willingness to stand up for life. We pray for one another, for those who
have asked our prayers and for those who need our prayers the most. Have a
good day!

May God Bless you and those you love, and keep you safe!
