"One of the scribes came near and heard them disputing with one another, and seeing that he answered them well, he asked him, 'Which commandment is the first of all?' Jesus answered, "The first is, 'Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one; you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.' The second is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these.'" ~Mark 12:28-31 .=: M E D I T A T I O N F O R T H E D A Y :=. I can try to make the world better and happier by my presence in it. I can try to help other people find the way God wants them to live. I can try to be on the side of good, in the stream of righteousness, where all things work for good. I can do my duty persistently and faithfully, not sparing myself. I can be gentle with all people. I can try to see other people's difficulty and help them. I can always pray to God to act as interpreter between me and the other person. .=: P R A Y E R F O R T H E D A Y :=. We pray for a deep and profound respect for life, and for the courage and willingness to stand up for life. We pray for one another, for those who have asked our prayers and for those who need our prayers the most. Have a good day! May God Bless you and those you love, and keep you safe!
