"When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were
harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd." ~Matthew 9:36

Having compassion for all who are in temptation, a condition which we are
sometimes in, we have a responsibility toward them. Compassion always
includes responsibility. Pity is useless because it does not have a remedy
for the need. But wherever our compassion goes, our responsibility goes
too. When we are moved with compassion, we can go to the one in need and
bind up their wounds as best we can.

I pray that I may have compassion for those in temptations. I pray that I
may have compassion for the trials of others.

Dorothy asks prayers for a friend who is near death. Jo Ann requests prayers
for a special intention for her son and his family. Ellen asks for prayers
for son-in-law to find a job to support family & financial obligations.

We pray for unity in our country and that we may build a Culture of Life. We
pray for the safety of our troops, their safe return and their families at
home. We pray for a deep and profound respect for life, and for the courage
and willingness to stand up for life. We pray for one another, for those who
have asked our prayers and for those who need our prayers the most. Have a
good day!
