Just a few reminders about our district convention.
*March 2nd last day* to make hotel reservations at the reduced price. Call
Annie 314-475-3804.
Also March 2nd is due date to have your voting delegate credentials form
into PDG Lisa Alexander. The form must be received or postmarked March 2nd
to vote.
Also delinquent dues to International and District from your club must paid
by* March 1*0th to vote.
These were some of our new constitution and by-law changes we voted on last
year.
New this year* trivia contest* Friday night. Also a look at our glorious
past 100 years. What is your club bringing to show off your past?
We need *silent auction items* so we can keep our convention prices low at
$18 for registration and lunch.
Saturday *starts at 8 am* meet the candidates and convention starts at
8:30. Parade of Banners (don't forget your stands),
Fun and exciting break out sessions. *Guiding Lion training* is 10:45-
12:15,* Younger members* ways to get and keep them and ideas that work
10:45 to 11:30.
Your* Lions International Foundation *what they do locally and around the
world at 10:45 to 11:30. *Saving Sight* and their new direction and changes
11:30-
12:15.
*Brain Port* a device that helps blind and low vision people see in black
and white. Exciting break through on technology that will changes lives.
Meet PID Larry Johnson and his wife Lion Marilyn who are our International
guests. PID Larry will be speaking at lunch with awards and peace poster
winner.
Memorial service and nomination for officers and voting. A fun packed day.
