That sounds like an interesting model.
I will make a point of looking at it.

Subject: [modeleng] Steam Driven Tug

For anyone interested in boat boilers there will be an interesting item on
the IDSME stand at Sandown Park and Alexandra Palace

One of our members, Peter Reynolds, decided to build a steam engine for a
boat. The steam engine is the important bit but he had to build a boat
round it. The boat, a tug, is finished and the engine, oil fired, is well
underway.

Peter is one of those individuals who is not interested in building
something which people say works. Instead he likes to build engines of his
own design which everyone else says will not work.

The tug itself is magnificent. What is inside is fascinating. The engine
will not be finished but there will be enough to fascinate those interested
in engine design.
