Hi,
Unfortunally I had to let go the Ally Pally exhibition but I had a look
trough the steamboat register 7th edition and they list 5 steam launches
with side or rear paddle drive. I also had a look at pictures taken by me at
the Henley traditional boat rally and came up with a few more examples. 
if you are interested I can scan / mail the pictures.

A bit of a question for those at the Ally Pally ME show...

The full scale steam boat folks were there as usual and I noticed some
pictures on their stand of a very small side-paddle steam
launch.....unfortunately I was a bit knackered and in a hurry anyway so
didn't find out what it was and whether there is a design for it or
indeed anything. Does anyone else recall the picture in question And
know anything more about it?
