Have a look at http://www.livesteam.net/tiemaker/mcdonnell.cfm -- a nice 
article with drawings about portable track as the foundation for fundraising 
shopping mall train operation.  This track is 7-1/2" but I see no reason it 
could not be 7-1/4" and dual gauge.  Charles
