Being a plain lathe without screw cutting and now only single speed a dealer is unlikely to want it, however it is still reasonably accurate and I can't bring myself to 'throw it away', so any ideas? Hi Andy, You could try moving it on Ebay, there seems to be a regular trade in Lathes. OK on the Colchester Bantam, I also have one and have been using it now for about two years, I replaced the ML7 with the Bantam and I have never regretted it. When I originally got it, it was the 800/1600 version in Three Phase, since then I have fitted a Dual Voltage 3 Phase Motor and run it using an inverter with speed control, it is just great to run and much more versatile. I am looking for a fixed steady for mine that is the only thing that was missing. Good luck with the Bantam Don East Lancs. MODEL ENGINEERING DISCUSSION LIST.
