Kevin: I have the Motif es and when you talk about aGM reset, I don't know what
that is. When I have to use gm sounds in the motif with sonar I simply go
through each channel, using the instrument definition and set each channel to
the gm bank and appropriate patch. Is there an easier way to get a GM file to

Thanks for the responses regarding my gm problem. Mike had mentioned
something about multi mode, which brought me to the obvious realization that
the motif needs to be in song or pattern mode. Then, I had to fire up the motif
mix editor and do a gm mix reset. After launching sonar, I opened a midi file,
and everything worked. Awesome.
