I got the front panel read to me when I first got my MOXF6 two years ago.

Yamaha MOXF6 layouts.
This is just a quick write-up. Screen layouts will be coming soon, I hope.
Please contact me if there are any mistakes, or just fix this and send me a
copy of the revised version.

front pannel from left to right.
Top left corner:
AD vol and on/off AD mix
Under the A/D section:
master vol, Daw vol.
to the right of the A/D and volume settings are two buttons that are aranged
virtically with three LEDs under each of them. These are buttons to select the
mode for the eight knobs.
Under the knobs are three groups of two buttons. they are as follows from left
to right.
Asign A, Asign B.
then octiv down and up,
and the last set is note shift.
Just to the right of the eight knobs are two six-packs. The top one is
incert fx, system fx, and master fx
under those three are
Arp on/off, arp edit, and DAW remote
under that is the sequencer six-pack, standard motif layout.
Under the screen are the standard motif function and sub-function keys.
Remember, the functions are on the bottom, and sub on top.

Then the data dial to the right of them.
Under the data dial is the standard motif style navigation area.
Just to the left of the exit button is the shift button.
Just to the right of the data dial and navigation section is the main block.
This is a nine-pack

Song, Pattern, and mix
file, utility, and quick setup
The three buttons slightly below the nine-pack are
edit, job, and store.
Big section on the far right.
layer, split, and drum asign.
to the right are dec and inc.
Under this are eight buttons that are A threw H. Under this row is a single
button, this is the common button.
under the common button is the track section. 16 buttons here. 1/8, and 9/16
Finally is a block of 4 buttons on the far right of the track section.
pattern section, and track.
mute, and solo.
The rear pannel is setup like this.
with Keys facing you, the connections are as follows from left to right.
A/D inputs then head phone jack.
Stereo outs are next, then the footswitch section. MIDI In, Out, Threw. Then
the usb section. On the far right end is your AC jack and the power button.
