In Sonar's options menu, set the clock option to external. This will sync the Sonar metronome with the motif. I don't know the other possible way. The files shouldn't change, make sure you are using the factory version and not one of the expanded versions. Do you see all the names of the instruments and banks when you are in the midi track properties? Also, do you have a channel selected in the midi track, and are you in a multimode like pattern or song mode? I only get the GM bank and a few others. I'm connected to my midi interface because I have other midi devices. I tried to install the Motif XF USB driver but there is a conflict between my midi interface and the USB driver. Any idea on how I could get access to all the sounds in Sonar? Thanks, Richard
