I used the factory instrument definition file.

I can see instrument names but I'm not sure if they are all available.

I have only bank 0 named GM but when I try to access bank 1, nothing
happens.

Thanks,

Richard

You have the xs or xf? The files shouldn't change, make sure you are using
the factory version and not one of the expanded versions.

Do you see all the names of the instruments and banks when you are in the
midi track properties? Also, do you have a channel selected in the midi
track, and are you in a multimode like pattern or song mode?

I used the instrument definition file found in the MoAccess archive on the
Bryan Smart web site. I just bought the keyboard so I wonder if this file is
compatible with the voices I have in my keyboard now. Would it make a
difference if I use a more recent file?

Thanks,

Richard

You need to go to the instruments page in sonar and assign the instrument
definition to your midi interface.

Hello,

I installed the definition instrument file in Sonar but I'm not able to have
access to all the sounds in the Motif XF. I only get the GM bank and a few
others.

I'm connected to my midi interface because I have other midi devices. I
tried to install the Motif XF USB driver but there is a conflict between my
midi interface and the USB driver.

Any idea on how I could get access to all the sounds in Sonar?

Thanks,

Richard
