Thanks for the instructions. Could you possibly resend me step 5 as JAWS is
speaking in a different language and I am unable to understand it. Thanks.

  Hi

you should set the Motif to work with sonar. This gives you the possibility
to control recording, playback and other things directly with the motif. As far
I know there isn't a way to do this with sonar itsself.

  Here the steps:
  1. I'm not sure anymore if it's necessary, but anyway, switch to song mode.
  2. Press "utility"
  3. Press F6

  4. Press SF1

  5. You can/should turn the dial a few times to make sure you're on the first
DAW entry. The list is: Cubase, Logic, Sonar, Digital Performer. this means:
turn it twice to the right side.

  6. Press "store"

  7. I'm not sure, but maybe press exit a few times to get out of the menu.

Please take the XS layout for navigation, it's really cool.

I have a question for the list. After I install the drivers for the Motif
XS, do I need to do any setup using the keyboard itself so it works with Sonar,
or is everything set to go? If there is any setup can it be done in Sonar
instead? Thanks.

    Karen
