The August 2007 meeting of the Manningham U3A Computer Users Group
will be:
*Upgrading to Vista*
presented by George Skarbek
Monday 6th August 2007
from 12:30pm to 2:00pm in the Function Room.
George will talk about whether you should upgrade to Vista (considering
that the older hardware you have may not be well supported) or ask for
XP when buying a new computer so that your older printers etc. will
still be usable.
He may also discuss modern ways to record travels such as digital
cameras, mobile phones, notebook computers and/or PDAs.
All members of U3A, their family and friends are welcome to attend this
meeting.
Apologies for the late notice. (I have just returned from travels and
would have appreciated the second item before I left.)
