When the world gets quarantined, ... For me, everything is pretty normal - till
I turn on the TV, then the cognitive dissonance floods in.
A few years I gave up on "TV". If I watch TV anymore, it's YouTube hooked up
through the XBox 360. Which gets used for playing Civilization or watching
YouTube. Ads? Bleagh, PiHole solves that.
But the creators? That has led me to Patreon, which is sort of evil, but
it's a decent middleman. If the creators want to use something else, then
I'll go that way. But, I have a few that create content that I really enjoy
watching and appreciate the work, so I reward that.
And speaking of that, there's a guy who does math, 3blue1brown, (which I
don't do, I "get it", but don't ask me to explain it :) who has a couple
really good mathy videos about pandemics and how they spread. A good
learning experience.
