The overnight low was 59 wonderful degrees, and it's been busy at our wooded
lot today. Highlights in addition to regulars were a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
(welcome fall, finally!), Black and White Warbler, Black-throated Green
Warbler, American Redstart, Scarlet Tanager, six Bluebirds investigating bird
houses, and a pair of Wood Thrushes. Our hummingbirds have dwindled from
