Hi Alexander, Thanks for the kind words, and welcome to the list!MIRtoolbox does not offer tools of its own related to the comparative display of multiple analyses. This would not be possible to perform in general because some graphs (such as frame-decomposed vectorial representations) cannot be superposed easily 'on top' of each other, and because subplots are already used for multi-channels representations.
Have you tried the nice graphical possibilities already offered intrinsically in Matlab? You can dock figures in the Desktop, cf. http://www.mathworks.com/access/helpdesk/help/techdoc/creating_plots/f5-41409.html
Would this solve your problem? Regards, Olivier Alexander Refsum Jensenius kirjoitti 19.1.2010 kello 10.23:
Hi,I am new to the toolbox and the list. First of all, thanks a lot for making this toolbox available!I have a question about plotting. Is there a way to have multiple plots in one figure? More specifically, I am interested in plotting the spectra (using mirspectrum) of three sound files in one figure. I have some recordings of the same material, but with different microphone placements, and want to visualize the similarities and differences between the three recordings by putting them on top of each other. The files have equal properties (sr, duration, etc.).I have looked through the manual, but can't seem to find any descriptions about plotting in the same figure, either 'on top' of other plots or as subplots. Do I just need to do it the regular way, or is there a MIRToolbox trick to this? Thanks, -- Alexander Refsum Jensenius Post doctoral researcher fourMs - Music, Mind, Motion, Machines Depts. of Musicology and Informatics University of Oslo Mobile: +47 95 12 92 32 http://www.fourms.uio.no http://www.arj.no
