Hi Shaun,

strangely, I cannot reproduce your problem. As I wrote earlier, I now have a 
new Mac Air and subsequently it also comes with 10.8.2. I did not upgrade or 
transfer old files from the old Air, but made a fresh install of Xcode & 
macports gcc47 and boost.

And everything compiles as expected, no error message during compile time 
nowhere. Now, I am still battling the linker (yet again *sigh*), but compiling 
is fine.

Is your system an upgrade? Which gcc are you using and how was it installed?
