www.grisoft.cz. (be sure to select "apply" when done to save the

Check the box labeled "Use alternate locations from the list"
select next and next to update.

Disable The Security Tab In IE ~ by Vic from WinTips-Tricks

You can disable the Security tab in IE.
I tested this in IE 4 to 6 and workded for all of them.

First, set your security level to how you want it, then close
IE, and go to this key in the Registry:

 HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet
 Explorer\Control Panel

If the Internet Explorer and Control Panel keys don't exist,
 then create them.
Right click the Microsoft key and create a new key named
Internet Explorer, then right click Internet Explorer and create
a new key named Control Panel.

Then, in the right hand pane for Control Panel, right click an
empty area and choose NewDword Value.
 Name it Securtiy Tab.
Now double click it and enter a value of 1.

 Exit the registry
Reopen IE, and click ToolsInternet Options
The Security tab should now be gone.

SoundClick MP3 Player
http://www.soundclick.com/software/
Windows (95,98,Me,NT,2000)
Freeware

SoundClick MP3 Player not only plays MP3s and CDs, but it also
connects to radio sites. Mix in Flash, and it's mesmerizing.

The playlist editor for this program is produced by an
Explorer-type interface that enables you to drag and drop MP3
files to the actual playlist. SoundClick MP3 Player also allows
you to import playlists created with other audio players. Editing
ID3 tags can also be done from the play list manager window.

If you need something to do while listening to your music, there
is a PacMan game available, too.

No more windows password

A common question we see is how to get rid of the Windows
password dialog box every time you start your computer. If you're
the only user, having to press Cancel every time your computer
starts is a real pain.
Fortunately, it's easy to turn off the Windows password. Go to
Start, Settings, Control Panel and open the Passwords icon. Then
click the Change Passwords tab and click the Change Windows
Password button.
Make sure all three fields are completely blank and click the OK
button to save changes.

The first, DriveMenu, sits in your System Tray (next to the clock)
allowing immediate access to all local drives and can be
configured to include quick access to drive tools (Scandisk and
Defrag) as well as access to network drives.
The second utility, DriveX, adds two new tabs to a drive's

GDI And User Resources Explained
http://www.forrestandassociates.co.uk/pcforrest/resources.html
If you've ever looked at your Resource Meter, as shown below,
(Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Resource Meter),
you might have asked yourself what the difference is between
System, User and GDI Resources. Before I answer that, you must
first understand what resources actually are. To most people, the
word resources probably conjures up images of hardware resources
such as RAM, or disk space, or printers, etc. While those are
certainly resources of one form or another, where Windows is
concerned System Resources has a very specific meaning: they are
the objects used by Windows and all its running programs. Objects
are simply things like windows, brushes, pens, fonts, menus, list
boxes, checkboxes, buttons, controls and files.

Antivirus software is a good choice to scan your system for
possible
viruses, however no virus scanner is 100% effective as
manufactures
cannot keep up with the rapid change of viruses that happens
daily.
Be sure to update yours regularly.
