Firstly, I use YouTube-DL to download the video from YouTube. Then I use
Reaper. You can easily remove the parts of the video by splitting the item
(clip) then delete the clips you don’t want. Also, editing video is a dream.
E.G. you can insert a video plug-in in Reaper then choose a pre-set which will
follow the audio fade in and out. Then you can perform a fade in and out on
the item (clip). When you perform the audio fade in and out, the video will do
the same. Very cool indeed!!

back
Hey Juan,
Ok well that’s good. So it does download video, so that will work for me.
When I import it in to rx8, it obviously strips out the audio from the video,
giving me an audio track. I can then convert in rx8 to many different formats
as required.
I just need to know what software I can play it back with, where I can insert
markers, and jump to them.
And or even able to delete pieces of the video.
Someone mentioned l vlc.
Thanks for the info,
Ross.

So, I went to YouTube and downloaded a video called Gitana, by woolly cologne.
I downloaded it using pontes media downloader and shows original video. Of
course I’m blind but I played Th The file Four my wife using the TV app in
Windows 10. It plays the music and it shows a picture of of Willy cologne. I
also downloaded something else and showed it to somebody using the app be my
eyes and they also saw a video. So I have to conclude that when you choose
original video you are actually downloading A file containing both video
and audio. Unless it’s Pu pulling the video from YouTube

You know, I could be wrong but I remember hearing when you go to download it
that you can choose the original video no alterations or MP3 maybe even wav.
Well, if I’m wrong I’m going to say what the comedian said in Saturday night
live. Quote
never mind. Quote

Hi Folks,
There are various tutorial videos on youtube I’d like to download both the
vision and the audio.
Any clues on how to do this?
Then need to play that video back, both vision and audio. Like to jump to
different spots in the video. And delete some portions of it.
Any ideas please on the software to do this?
Thanks for any help.
Ross.
