Workshops:
*Certified Institutional Protection Manager Workshop* is a full day
workshop on Saturday, July 18 at the Cincinnati Art Museum. This one-day
class, presented by the International Foundation for Cultural Property
Protection, is perfect for small museum administrators or those in

On Sunday, July 19, from noon to 5 pm at the National Underground
Railroad Freedom Center.
The second in a workshop series designed to assist museums in tackling
difficult community issues. Each workshop stands on its own-attend all or
just one! This workshop will center on ways that museums can use their
positions of trust to tackle stereotyping and mythology, in order to help
their communities engage in conversations such as the current contentious
debate surrounding sports team' mascots. This session will utilize the
content and collections at the National Underground Railroad Freedom
Center, which is about to open an exhibit around the topic of sports team'
