ATHS Annual Country Store September 26 and 27
ANDERSON
TOWNSHIP -- This year’s Country Store sponsored
by the Anderson Township Historical Society will be held on Saturday, September
26 from 10 am to 5 pm and on Sunday, September 27 from noon to 5 pm at the
historic
Miller-Leuser Log House on Clough Pike near Bartels Road. Following the long
tradition of ATHS Country Stores, there will be activities galore -- the Cobweb
Corner flea market in the barn, hand-sewn and hand-crafted items in the Log
House, produce and flowers at the Farmer’s Market, the bake sale, raffles,
silent auction, publications for sale, food and beverages, games and children’s
activities, and musical entertainment on both days.
The
Cobweb Corner flea market features antiques and interesting items donated by
our members and the community. Fresh baked items of all sorts are sold in the
basement of the Brick House. Home cooked meals will be available from the
summer kitchen. Children’s games, the Farmer’s Market, the silent auction, and
live instrumental music are available in the barnyard!
Please
attend the Country Store and bring your friends, relatives, and neighbors.
Proceeds
from this fund-raising event are used to maintain the ATHS historical buildings
and landscapes and to provide information about the rich history of the
Township to the community. (513-231-2114)
