This isn't something I do myself, although I use other prayer lists. I'd like
to thank those who do pray through the list, though, as I'm always grateful for
the prayers of others.
I used to find writing out the old quarterly class tickets was a helpful
discipline. I would pray for each member as I wrote his or her name. It also
prompted me to make a visit sometimes: "Oops - I haven't called on him/her for
a while." Prayer producing action, as it were.

Echoing David Monkton’s thanks for Sarah’s prayers – ever since I became
moderator of the egroup I have used the list in my daily devotions, praying
for so many names in each day. It’s been a wonderful sense of belonging to
the fellowship of the group within the fellowship of the ministry. Even when
the egroup has been quiet, that has been a reminder to me of our continuing
belonging together in the team of disciples, and our mutual support.
Blessings,
