To be honest I wonder how many of us in the Active Work are taking it! I
have to admit I never have - in part because it feels that there's little
enough in there to justify paying for it. If there was an option of a
Digital Subscription that included access to an online archive I'd consider
it...

I m wondering how many Supernumeraries are still taking the "Recorder"?
I have just received a subscription reminder, and the cost is £209.35 for
the year. I can't help comparing this to the "Church Times" which has
various rates: 1 year - *either* digital or print, £92 annually by direct
debit; or *both *digital and print for £115 annually by direct debit. I
am aware that the Church Times makes money from pages of adverts for Church
vacancies etc. but it does have many pages of news reporting and other
articles. I subscribe to the digital edition and think that will have to
be my choice for the future! And the "Recorder" has no digital edition.
