26th July is annually observed as the *#International Mangrove Conservation
Day* to raise awareness about the importance of mangrove ecosystems as
unique, special and vulnerable and to promote solutions to sustainably
manage and conserve them. This year, on 26th July, United Way Mumbai is
organizing an expert talk at 4 PM on: *"Technologies used in Conservation,
Mapping, and Restoration of Mangroves in Urban Cities"* by Dr. Geetanjali
Deshmukhe (Principal Scientist at Central Institute of Fisheries Education,
Mumbai).
