National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM), Ministry of Home Affairs,
in collaboration with India Meteorological Department is organizing a
webinar on “Cyclone and storm surges” on 28th July, 2020 from 11:00 to
01:00 pm. The programme is directed towards sensitizing, institutionalizing
and promoting the exchange of information, knowledge, experience, expertise
and innovation on Cyclone and storm surges with effective collaborative
actions (implementing Prime Minister’s 10-point agenda and Sendai Framework
for Disaster Risk Reduction) for reducing the risk and enhancing the
resilience amongst the stakeholders.
Registration in the webinar is free and participant will be provided with
e-certificate.
