Happy Earth day! Starting today, join thousands of individuals and groups
from across India, in the Neighborhood Trees Campaign, to map, photograph
and share stories of trees!
Prizes to be won for top contributors, top species ID providers and other
categories.

trees in your neighborhood.

create an account in a few simple steps or use our mobile app

sign up.
- Upload identified or unidentified observations

lists

with date and location.
- Mark it as fruiting, flowering or having new leaves. Write notes on
its uses and folklore.
- Submit and share with friends!!
- Experts will help you identify unidentified species

confirm identified ones.
- Browse

comment, agree on species IDs or help identify

incoming observations.
*Why:* Your observations will help aggregate images and data on
species distributions, seaonality, folklore and uses of trees . All
content aggregated is made freely available for download under the Creative
Commons licenses and can be useful for research and planning. Most
importantly, it is a fun activity to do during this time of the year when
many trees are in bloom!
*Prizes:* Prizes will be awarded to top 5 contributors, top 5 ID providers,
and other categories that catch the judges attention. Prizes include
autographed field guides on trees, T-shirts and caps. To view all
