Human & Environment Alliance League (H.E.A.L) invites applications from
conservation practitioners and students (B.Sc/M.Sc/PhD) for a workshop on
exploring and learning mapping tools.
Practitioners applying for the course will be assisted in analyzing data
from the field.
*Please note that ten seats are reserved for practitioners and is available
on a first-come-first-served basis. *
Workshop fees for practitioners is 5000 INR which includes course fees,
course material, consultation, lunch and evening snacks).
*5 full scholarships and 5 half scholarships are available for students
applying for the course*. Financial information of the participant
pertaining to why they require the scholarship must be attached in a
separate document and sent along with the SOP. Interested applicants must
send a Statement of Purpose to healearth2010@xxxxxxxxx explaining why they
would want to attend the workshop and how it could help them in their
current/future work.
Prospective students must send in their Statement of Purpose in a word/pdf
format by *31st December, 2018.*
Please note that full scholarship will cover the entire course fee, course
material, lunch and evening snacks. Half scholarships will require the
students to pay 2500 INR which will cover the above heads.
The workshop will be based in Kolkata and will be conducted over four days
- *28th -31st January, 2019. *
Successful candidates will be acknowledged via mail on the 2nd of January,
2019. Thereafter, the process of registration must be completed within 5th
of January, 2019.
