1. Effective this message Jim Sylvester(AAA9IP)assumes staff
responsibility for Army MARS phone patch operations including emergency
phone patches. Jim is making great progress in reinstituting the Army
MARS phone patch program.
2. Any Army MARS members interested in phone patching should contact Jim
via the chain of command (SD and RD). Jim may be contacted at

3. This consolidation is a result of the resignation of Bill Wheeler
from Army MARS. Many thanks to Bill Wheeler for his many years of
