Wonder if Operation Rescue has driven the drug dealing over to this side of
State Street.
Might be a good question to ask at tonight’s Sector E meeting, which I

There's been a lot of foot traffic on Salem St. lately, centering on the
sidewalk running between #21 and #27 (the Springfield Gardens apartment
building and Rhonda Shepard's house). One or two guys standing at the
top of it like they're waiting for a ride. They go halfway up or down
the block, cross the street, go down the sidewalk behind the building, a
different guy comes back, crosses the street, comes back; two guys walk
behind the building, one comes back....a complicated dance that goes on
all day. Today I was eating my lunch on the glider and I heard a police
megaphone coming from the direction of Spring Street, yelling at a guy
to stop. The guy booked it down the street, hung a left at that sidewalk
and disappeared, followed by several cops. He came back in cuffs and
they stuffed him in a police car in front of my house, along with
another guy they had caught nearby. Constant sirens ever since.
