Specialized Training and Education
Hello Amanda and Karen,
Attached is a program brochure for a specialized education and training event
for guardianship & conservatorship investigators, regulatory staff, auditors,
court monitors, court visitors, law enforcement, APS, prosecutorial staff, etc.
(local, state, federal) to be held concurrent with the national conference on
guardianship in Dallas on October 22-25, 2022.
Participants do not have to be members of the National Guardianship
Association. For this inaugural training event, we are waiving education and
experience eligibility requirements. Also since this is a pilot program (a
proof of concept) event, the registration fees are considerably lower than one
would expect to earn 20+ CE hours. If the proof of concept is successful, I
would expect the registration fees to increase significantly next year.
We are so lucky to have an All-Star line-up of trainers/speakers and VIP
guests, so please consider helping and spreading this information to those who
would benefit the specialized training.
Our full day speakers – Bret Hood, Mark Anderson and Andrew Thurman are highly
rated speakers by organizations such as the Association of Certified Fraud
Examiners, the Association of Inspectors General, and the Institute of
Internals Auditors – and our session speakers are all outstanding!
