We charge clerical at $40/hour – 3.5 hours monthly.   Deputy time is $40/hour, 
mine is $80/hour.  Phone calls are 5 minutes, unless it’s longer, then it’s 
actual time.  Mileage is determined by what the county is currently paying.  I 
don’t charge mileage unless I drive long distances.  I do not charge clients 
individually for mileage.  Monthly fees are according to SSA and are deducted 
from any calculated amounts if they have been paid.  Judge approves fees.

My mileage rate is what my county has established and my hourly rate is an 
amount I came up with myself. My attorney and my judge agreed that the rate was 
completely discretionary but that it does have to be approved by the judge.

We charge $30/hour and $.35/mile

Is the Public Administrator the one who determines what the fee is?  I think I 
was told that what we charge is determined by somebody else.  Not sure who that 
is...Commissioners, the judge, statute...?  So who does determine fees and 
mileage?
