Hi David,

I'm a new member here and new to macs. I've got lots of questions but am
now afraid to ask them here in fear of having done to me what was done to
this poster.

Are you the Owner of this list or the moderator here? I'm curious and
wanted to know so that I don't go OT here asking too many questions in a
mannor that you or others may not approve of.

Rick Harmon

It is not OT. Making people form their questions to your exacting standards
is OT. I think sometimes you just need to say something just for the sake
of saying. You could have just said sorry for your inaccurate information
and kept it moving. But you had to continue and point out what you
perceived as the short comings in the message in which you provided the in
accurate answer to.
