Hi Candie, just locate text edit in the applications folder, and then press command shift t to put it on the dock, assuming you're using snow leopard.

Thank youso much for the suggestions you have given me about downloading older itunes podcasts. What word processor do some of you use to create documents on the mac? So far I have been doing some experimenting with text edit. I can't seem to find the program in the dock. The only way I can locate it is by going to spotlight and searching for it that way? Does anyone know an easier way to get to it? Also, what type of font is commonly used when creating documents that will be printed out? I know I can press VO T to here the text attributes, but how do I double space a document and make sure it is definitely double spaced. I checked in the help menu to see if I could find a list of keyboard short cuts, but couldn't seem to find anything. On Nov 4, 2009, at 1:36 PM, matthew dyer wrote:Hi, I have the same problem. I tend to read my email using theread by paragraph commands, and in those messages where you'd get thepauses, VO only reads a line or two at a time, rather than the whole paragraph. It's a little bit frustrating. When reading mail messages, Alex sometimes separates the first letter of a word from the rest of it, for example, the word thanks would be read as "t hanks". Any fix for this? Needless to say it's annoying and never happened with Leopard.Click on the link below to go to our homepage. http://www.icanworkthisthing.com Manage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below. //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Web interface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceoverClick on the link below to go to our homepage. http://www.icanworkthisthing.com Manage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below. //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Web interface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceoverClick on the link below to go to our homepage. http://www.icanworkthisthing.comManage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below.//www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Webinterface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover-- Wordy Mom Think positive, ...be positive, ...your cup is always half full.Click on the link below to go to our homepage. http://www.icanworkthisthing.comManage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below.//www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Web interface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover-- You can lead a heart to love, but you can't make it fall.
