I need this for a work thing too, I’ll give it a try when I have some down time
tomorrow to see if I can get as frustated as you…misery loves company.
The instructions seem pretty straightforward, I’ll have some sighted assistance
tomorrow so will be able to tell if it looks like what they say.

When on a call, I can hide the keypad. I can double-tap add call. But that
takes me to my contacts and tells me to select a contact or enter number.
There's no way I can see to enter a number without changing to keypad and
then once I enter the phone number I only see a call button which disconnects
the current call and calls the number i have entered. If I do stay in
contacts and select a contact, then I no longer see an add or (as the article
read told me) a merge button. I'm trying to help a friend with a customer
service problem she is having by doing a three-way to be on the phone with
her so I really need to figure this out. If anybody can give me a clear and
simple (for dummies!) set of instructions, I would really appreciate it. It's
obvious that I am missing a step here somewhere!
