I'm really not getting any more busies than I used to get with Leopard. I have a Macbook, 2.4 intel core 2 duo ant 4gb ram and a Mini, 2.0 ghz intel core 2 duo and 1gb ram. They both work very well with SL.

I don't knwowhat that means either. my bus speed in my early black macbook is: 667 and my display is identical except it is lcd and mirroring is also off. Yeah, I get a lot of busy.

Hi David, I wonder what determines the bus speed for our macs? You'd think that they would sell machines with a faster bus speed, but system profiler did say mirror off, so I don't know what that means.

yeah, that alone would explain the busys. that bus speed is a bit on the low side for sl.

Hi David, I have 2 gb of ram, when the mini's last year were selling with 1 gb of ram, and the bus speed is 667 megahertz, if that helps.

Hi all, I still couldn't find anything regarding video, but under disc
burning, it said I had a pioneer drive that read both cd's and dvd's,
but I went all the way down to software, and the only way I could
navigate in the table was to press vo down arrow, and I found nothing
about video, or no specific word regarding video in the table list, so
I don't know what this means, but if what I suspect to be true, this
is a grave disappointment, and I may have to go back to leopard if
this busy, busy stuff doesn't stop.
