Hello,I did not see the part about using apple loops in the garageband tutorials. I looked through them all. Yes, and I have found if I just move a single loop into the scroll section... for example I can just cut and paste it to be as long as I require.

If it is a jingle that you want to use, read the guide as Ginny said and after you have moved it in to the project, do, this first. Then send your projecct to iTunes and then open it in Amadeus Pro. You mite want to finish your project in Amadeus Pro.
