I would assume so, although I am running Leopard on my Mac Mini and haven't got Snow Leopard yet. My kids promised me they would get Snow Leopard for me some time at the beginning of this year. I'm still waiting. Richie Gardenhire, Anchorage, Alaska.

Sorry if this question has been asked.

Will Snow Leopard, Bootcamp, and Windows 7 work together?

The newer Mac Minis should be plenty for what you want to do. You can install Windows, provided your Mac Mini is a Dual Core Intel machine. You can get a "dressed-out" model of the Mac Mini for around $799 or so, but if you want portability that you can take everywhere with you, the Mac Book line will suffice as well. I went back to Graduate School last Fall and I bought a Macbook Pro 13 this is turning out to be an excelent machine and the only time I use windows anymore is on other computers. You just need to determin what your needs are but I would suggest the MacBook Pro with at least 4GB Memory and a 250GB of HD space.

Good luck!

Hi,

I am going back to college/university in the fall of 2010.
Will a mac mini do everything I need for school with voiceover?
I will need to b able to:
*possibly install windows 7
*scan and read books using OCR
*read daisy books possibly
and everything else college students use like skype andd things. I will try and save, possibly will buy a Linux MacBook for notetaking and throw knoppix-adriane on it or maybe vinux-cli-max or ubuntu on the netbook.

my blog is at http://jkenn337.klangoblog.net (updated frequently). Tired of Microsoft Windows and paying thousands for screen-readers? try out NVDA for Windows, or try out and switch to grml, Ubuntu, Vinux, or knoppix-adriane Linux desktops. Knoppix ubuntu and vinux- cli-max are the most accessible for beginners. also try vinux-gui and encourage those at www.cherrypal.com to use windows-xp and nvda knoppix-adriane Vinux-cli-max or grml so all blind people can have an accessible computer.
