I went back to Graduate School last Fall and I bought a Macbook Pro 13 this is 
turning out to be an excelent machine and the only time I use windows anymore 
is on other computers.  You just need to determin what your needs are but I 
would suggest the MacBook Pro with at least 4GB Memory and a 250GB of HD space.
