Hey guys, I'm sorry I'm asking so many questions. But with voc rehab and them setting up a vocational rehab engineer to come to my house to disguss with me what technology I need for school, I have to know what I'm ttalking about, what works, what doesn't work. will the dvi to video adapter from http://store.apple.com/us/product/M9267G/A will it let me pretend there is a monitor, or not? If not I may opt for the macbook. After college I will be getting a job in the assistive technology field, or perhaps working for apple or Microsoft. So knowing and learning both will make me more employable as a blind person. Josh Kennedy jkenn337@xxxxxxxxx my blog is at http://jkenn337.klangoblog.net (updated frequently). Tired of Microsoft Windows and paying thousands for screen-readers? try out NVDA, get a mac--, nvda--for Windows, or try out and switch to grml, Ubuntu, Vinux, or knoppix-adriane Linux desktops. Knoppix ubuntu and vinux-cli-max are the most accessible for beginners. also try vinux-gui and encourage those at www.cherrypal.com to use windows-xp and nvda knoppix-adriane Vinux-cli-max or grml so all blind people can have an accessible computer.
