[macvoiceover] When would I manually scroll?

HI, Brett here again. I'm going through the guide once more. Manually scrolling caught my attention. The guide states that there may be times when I'll want to manually scroll with VO shift S. It's not making sense to me. Can someone give me some examples of when I'd want to use this?
