as long as you can do a selective backup, that will be fine. otherwise, you will be right back where you started. If you look really hard, you can find and kill just about anything that you don't want/need.
here's an idea, create a new admin account and delete the other one and see what is left after that. make sure you fix the mail and such first before deleting the other account though. I can free up almost all of the space on my drive when necessary with no isues except of course putting everything back. I did this for an archive and install once.

Are people noticing any differences between upgrading and a clean install of snow leopard? I did the upgrade but if I wanted to try a clean install now, I could update superduper and do a backup and then try the clean install. Just wondering if the experiment is really a good use of my time or not.-- Cheryl "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer."
