Hi everyone,

I'm running Lion. This issue was also present in SL. I am not able to turn
off the data detector announcements in Mail. I find them to be quite
distracting and a real annoyance when trying to arrow by character through a
word that happens to be considered "data". I tried the method where a string
of text is typed into terminal, but this did nothing. Has anyone managed to
turn off data detectors? If so, can you post the steps here?

TIA
