Here is how you get the mp3 file. When you are in the mac break weekly page

tab around until you hear " download mp3" then hold the control key and click the button on your track pad ( there must be another way) but this will open another menu, like in Windows when you press the context menu key. Arrow down through that menu until you get to "download linked file". If you don't download the file, it will open with whatever you have set as the default mp3 player, usually Quicktime.
The control key is on the left three out from the spacebar.

I don't know what might be going on with the download now link but will guess that it uses the <title/> attribute to express the label for the link.
