OK I am sure that makes since, but on my Windows machine it clearly says "download now" and it starts playing on my player of choice. On my Mac Machine it doesn't show at all. Remember I am a new Mac user, so I could have something not set properly or are you saying that VO may not be able to read these things? ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Poehlman" <david.poehlman@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

command-l.

There are a few ways links can be labeled. one is to put text in the element container. another is to use an image and an alt attribute in the link container and still another is to use both and another is to use title with oor without alt or link text.

the address bar hotkey is command-l.
I don't know what might be going on with the download now link but will guess that it uses the <title/> attribute to express the label for the link.

Hello listers I have a couple of questions about Safari. I changed the settings to separate links instead of having them grouped together. I hide the bookmarks toolbar and now I want to know if their is a shortcut key to get to the address bar. Also on my favorite website (leoville.com) I can go to my podcast i.e mac break weekly, but I don't see the link that says download now like it does on my Windows machine. Can someone instruct me on these items.
