Hi,

I'm not really sure what going on with the bookmarks issue.  Hopefully, someone 
else on the list can give you an answer.  As far as voiceover not talking after 
the low battery warning, go into voiceover utilities with control option f8.  
Under general, check Allow VoiceOver to be controlled with AppleScript.  I 
think this will help.  Also, go to system preferences/speech.  Under the text 
to speech tab, uncheck Announce when alerts are displayed if the first step 
doesn't solve the problem.
