[macvoiceover] Installing program and creating new folder questions

Hello,
I am using a mac book. I downloaded skype and want to install it. Would
someone tell me the steps to do this?
I also want to create a folder on the Mac Hd. How do I do this?
If anyone knows of a tutorial on Mac basics, I would appreciate it. I don't
want to clutter the list with beginner questions.
