Yes and I restarted because it froze up. Another thing that I noticed is when I close the get info window VO resets. The reason why I say that is because when my computer is turned on I have it set to say Hello Mr. Jones. This is what is spoken when I close the get info window. This makes me think that VO hangs up on this command in every area except the applications folder.
