Sure. I’m using FaceTime and I’m also using my Mac to make and receive phone
calls, as it is in fairly close proximity to my iPhone. I don’t have any
other call answering app on my Mac.
I can use Siri to make calls, but having up, muting, etc., I can’t
always access the Notification Center. In Catalina, all of this could work
within FaceTime.
Thanks so much for your help.

Susan, could you explain your setup a bit more, please? does this happen only
in facetime or do you use another software as well for landlines and mobiles?

Greetings all,
Im still having problems answering and hanging up FaceTime or regular phone
calls on my Mac. I had hoped that the latest update of Big Sur, i.e.
yesterday’s update, would have solved the issue, but it hasn’t done so.I
have to keep my phone nearby in order to answer calls, and it is really
time-consuming.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much.
