[macvoiceover] Dimming the screen on a Mac mini.

Guys,

I have noticed  when pressing the F key to dim my screen on the mac mini
nothing happens.  I am connecting my monitor using the Thunderbolt port.
Voice Over is announcing correctly however the screen stays the same.

Any thoughts?
